This contemporary revision (from 1973) of the classic detective film noir stars a young Elliot Gould, a brief role for Sally Field and a hilarious moment with a very young Schwarzenegger. I loved the dark, low-key cinematography that highlights cynically witty crime films. The movie got me reminiscing of the classics that began this stylish genre.
