Celebrate the Solstice

This past Monday 30,000 people came together to celebrate the longest day of the year at Stonehenge.  A celebration of life - standing amongst the towering stones in a diverse crowd of non-stop party goers to neo-pagens to watch the sun rise on the midsummer morning.  Dawn appeared over the Heel Stone just after 4:52 and everyone raised their hands in meditation. There's an amazing communal feeling at the solstice sunrise as the spirituality of the prehistoric temple is celebrated - it brings life to the people.
