I have always wanted to visit Walter De Maria's Land Art work. Titled "The Lightning Field" and located in New Mexico, the large rectangular land grid consists of 400 stainless steel poled in order to catch lightning. The piece was comissioned, and now maintained, by Dia Art Foundation. You must make advanced reservations in order to visit the site... I want to go!
