Charade

I watched the 1963 classic Charade with Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn.  Her clothing in the film is so stunning (as always).  All outfits were Givenchy who outfitted the actress on and off-screen for over forty years.  The designer loved her stunningly classic look. Her always-perfectly-dressed image is Givenchy. His designs appeared on her in her films Funny Face, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, as well as Sabrina. He won the academy award in costume design for his work in Sabrina in 1957.

Lomography

Shimon Shlevich
With the world going digital, it's great to find the treasures and pleasures of the old school style regaining recognition.  When it comes to photography these days, who isn't a photographer (from iphones to SLRs).
-Sascha Abramovich aka Break Phreak
For some this kills the art, the uniqueness, the value.  For me, I think the more the merrier - make it a more competitive art. Show me something quality in a world full of images - show me something creative and exceptional.
Ah... in steps Lomography.
Shimon Shlevich
What is Lomography?  It started from the "orignal" Russian Lomo-compact Automat camera (LC-A) which was discovered by two students from Austria traveling around the world.  They fell in love with the look, the feel and never let it go - spreading it around the world in the last few decades, sharing Lomography with everyone. Lomography has become the worlds largest analogue brand producing not only cameras but also films, fashion, books and more.
Alex Kass
I am a serious lover of its snapshot quality and the creative range you can take with it.

From various camera styles, films, processing, lenses, contrast qualities, to playing around with exposures - it takes all the creative abilities of photography outside of the frame itself and inside the hands of the photographer.
They're bringing back analogue photography as a cultivated art.

Besides who doesn't love playing with film?

To The Future Me?

Oh future me thank you for the surprise in my inbox today, an e-mail from myself to myself written one year ago.  It's comically fantastic! Myself one year ago sounded so high... "close your eyes and you have everything.  Just breath" Sending words of wisdom to the "wiser" me.

you can also read anonymous future me letters:
"Dear FutureMe,
Do not forget that you know nothing now, and you knew nothing then. The only purpose to life is to love.
