Cary Grant

I grew up watching pretty much every movie with Cary Grant, thanks to my mother's love for classic films. I don't even need to begin to talk about his suave demeanor or handsome face... you can see it all....

I Met the Walrus

I Met the Walrus -" In 1969, a 14-year-old Beatle fanatic named Jerry Levitan snuck into John Lennon's hotel room in Toronto and convinced him to do an interview. 38 years later, Levitan, director Josh Raskin and illustrators James Braithwaite and Alex Kurina have collaborated to create an animated short film using the original interview recording as the soundtrack. A spellbinding vessel for Lennon's boundless wit and timeless message, I Met the Walrus was nominated for the 2008 Academy Award for Animated Short and won the 2009 Emmy for 'New Approaches' (making it the first film to win an Emmy on behalf of the internet)."

The Boxes

Stanley Kubrick's - Boxes is a made for television documentary by Jon Ronson. After hearing about this film for quite some time I finally got the chance to see it... He's an insane genius but his movies are flawless - now we can understand why.

You can stream it from youtube in five parts.

Summertime Sun Tea

Blame it on my Arizona upbringing... but there isn't anything better than Sun Tea in the summertime, and because summer seems to be upon us - lets start brewing. I usually brew about 4-6 bags of various teas in a pitcher of water, the best is to add orange or lemon slices and of course ginger and mint are always great with green teas.

A Decade in Fashion

Dazed and Confused revealed AnOther Magazine's latest spread....
"In celebration of this decade in fashion AnOther Magazine has paired the most influential designers with fashion's finest accomplices; the actresses, models, musicians and muses who inspire with their sense of style and the power of their image. The fashion houses granted AnOther Magazine personal access to their archives and the fashion editors carefully paired each icon with a look by one designer from the past 10 years. Two portfolios by Craig McDean and Hedi Slimane were co-ordinated over 18 months, with shoots in Paris, London, New York and Los Angeles, involving thousands of conversations between hundreds of people around the world. Inside the magazine, Susannah Frankel reflects on the collections, creative minds and cultural events that shaped the current fashion landscape and asks: what's next? "

Polish Up

Now that it's summer, we're all falunting our beautiful mani/pedis (or somehting like that right?) anyway this season should be all about rocking shades of blue... but if you don't think you can pull it off try anyone of these shades.
These are my favorite colors for summer!!!
Hot PInk (Classic summer color)

Turquoise (This is my favorite!!)

Coral

Mushroom (if you prefer to keep it neutral, this looks great!)

Edwin Land

A collection of photographs by Edwin Land, the founder of Polaroid, which has been collected by the Polariod empire are now being auctioned off at Sotheby's with much argument. The company, as you can imagine, is in debt and looking to make some serious money but many are arguing that these photos should be put in a museum.
